Fractional SDR in the UK
UK buyers need to compare quotes in pounds and check the UK email rules. Here is what applies to each.
Comparing quotes
No benchmark in pounds is published, so ask each provider for a quote in pounds and compare them on cost per qualified meeting. For US dollar ranges and what drives them, see the cost guide. The calculator takes any currency: enter your own quote.
Email rules for company addresses
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), the ICO says you do not need prior consent to send marketing email to corporate subscribers, meaning companies and other bodies with a separate legal identity. Sole traders and people using personal addresses are treated as individuals, where consent or the soft opt-in applies. Even for corporate addresses, the ICO advises identifying the sender and offering an opt-out. UK GDPR still governs how you use personal data such as a named person's email address.
This is a summary of guidance, not legal advice. Check the ICO's current B2B marketing page, and ask a provider how it handles opt-outs and records.
What to ask a UK-facing provider
- Where the rep works, and whether they know your market and its working hours.
- How opt-outs and data sources are handled.
- Whether prices are quoted in pounds, and whether VAT is included.
- The usual items on the questions list.
